Heritage funding
Heritage is more than just buildings, it's anything we value that we want to preserve for the future. Along with archaeology and buildings it includes natural heritage such as meadows, trees, and animals, and intangible heritage like food customs or dance. Did you know that the National Lottery Heritage Fund accepts applications for projects dealing with any of these, from oral history to biodiversity projects to work with archives and museums?
Working in the engagement team at the NLHF for over two years, I delivered training and feedback to applicants from organisations and community groups on how to best shape their project to be a good fit for Lottery funding.
I can advise on applications at all levels, from help with Project Enquiry forms to lending a critical eye to final documents, or helping with project design and application writing.
